This database compiles recalls and safety bulletins published by firearm and ammunition manufacturers and media outlets. The database is not comprehensive. There is no publicly available federal database of gun recalls, and no federal agency can require a gun maker to issue a recall. We have provided links to the manufacturers’ webpages where possible, but some notices and dates are from third-party sources. We will update the database as more information becomes available.
